What is Family Ministries?

Our EABC church family wants to provide a place and ministry for any believer: whether man or woman, young or old, married or single. We also want to partner with parents, grandparents, and guardians as they raise their children and youth in the Christian life. We point them to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and teach them Biblical wisdom with the prayer that they will accept Jesus Christ and grow into strong followers of him. We accomplish these goals through providing small groups and activities suited to specific ages but are also connected to one another, creating one church family.

Small Group Ministry

We have small groups for all ages and stages of life: nursery, children, youth, women, men, young adults, and co-ed adults, and senior adults!
Those within our small groups strive to care for one another and carry each other through both the good and bad seasons of life. We walk this life together! Our small groups also give everyone a space where they can discuss what the Bible says and how they can apply the Bible to their lives.
Some of our groups are ongoing and meet year-round. One co-ed adult group gathers in our fellowship hall (Rm 105) and is co-led by Jim Worley and Jeff Moore. The other ongoing groups are discussed below. We also conduct short-term groups that last several weeks and study a specific topic. Our ongoing groups meet Sunday mornings, and our short-term groups get together in the evenings on Sunday or Tuesday.
We’ll be glad to talk to you about our small group ministry for your family! You may reach out to Pastor Forrest at forrest.mills@eabcchurch.com with questions or advice on which group to try out!
